The product distributor in the inlet of the flake screen spreads the product evenly on the top screen, which sorts out lumps that may have formed. The through fraction falls onto the lower screen. The overs of this screen represent the accepted product, whereas the fines are screened off. These three fractions are discharged via a separate outlet.
Two unbalance motors under the flake screen generate the necessary vibrations, and the mechanically adjustable screen inclination provides the angle required to convey the flakes towards the outlet. The SCHULE flake screen is made of stainless steel and food grade plastics. The screen decks for fractioning the flakes are divided, which facilitates and speeds up the change of the respective screens. Sampling sockets at the sides ensure fast sampling during operation.
To cover different capacity ranges, the SCHULE flake screen is available in three different sizes.
